Enjoying delicious, nourishing whole foods is an experience to be savoured at the Eden Health Retreat.
Our aim is to teach you how to incorporate a healthy whole food regime into your daily life.
Surrounded by a valley of rural producers and bio-dynamic farms, the retreat’s head chef and resident naturopath sources the freshest seasonal ingredients including fruits, vegetables, legumes, beans and grains, which are often organic and always local.
The daily menus are carefully designed to provide a balance of protein (higher than the Recommended Daily Intake), and bio-available nutrients to promote wellness and reduce cravings. While dietary allergies such as gluten, dairy, egg and nuts are catered for, we also offer a vegetarian/vegan option and guests with weight loss goals are supported by our kitchen. We are however, unable to cater for personal food menus, fodmaps or dietary fads. A typical days menu at Eden comprises of breakfast, lunch and dinner with morning and afternoon teas:-
- blood orange & apple bircher muesli with wild vanilla pod vanilla yoghurt accompanied by a selection of fresh seasonal fruits;
- vegetable frittata on a quinoa base with fresh salad platters such as apple, pecan and rocket salad or sundried tomato with broccoli, asparagus and honey roasted macadamias;
- herb encrusted wild snapper with roast parsnips, beetroot & goat cheese salad and fresh seasonal greens.
To maximise the benefits of eating delicious whole foods, alcohol and caffeine are not available. Meal times are enjoyed overlooking the spectacular valley and mountain views, while an adjoining relaxation lounge is the perfect spot to unwind.
